Island of ever changing colours and moods.
Through my travels discovering some 500 kilometres of lanes and roads, always aware of the Island beauty. These are a few of my favourite moments within the life on my Island. One of our Island Icons, Mont Orgueil Castle dates from 1204 AD when the Channel Islanders came to make a decision to be loyal either to France or Britain. We chose then only to be loyal to our Duke of Normandy - King John the first! From this date on, we only regard each sovereign of Great Britain as 'Our Duke of Normandy' - Whether be King or Queen!

Aims: Providing a short, comprehensive, one-day course for Taxi-Cab drivers aimed at ensuring the general public receive a consistent quality service. - Jersey Taxi-Cab Drivers - Training for Wheelchair and Disability Awareness with local Historical Knowledge. Official Provider for the Dept., of Infrastructure - D.V.S. States of Jersey. Objectives: This dedicated course will comprise three specific areas, Customer Care - Wheel-Chair Handling plus Disability Awareness, with in depth local Historical knowledge. The intention is to provide to the island Taxi service high quality delivery ensuring the Island maintains a good reputation of service with locals and visitors alike. Participants will receive a certificate and handbook covering the most important details. Training on offer each month throughout the year. |
